The Life of the Artist, Poet, Musician, Activist and Child of Creation.
Paul was merely a teenager when he first started having insprational flashes of poetry. The words just came to him, some in the form of Poetry, some in Song, some just in Haiku.
Whilst at school he always wanted to learn the guitar, but was not very acedemic, so his attendance was, questionable at best. In his 20's, he made a friend in James Donaldson, who encouraged him to get a guitar.
He quickly taught him the four Major Chords, and advised him to just move his fingers around and he would quickly pick it up. He did, and very quickly started to write his songs.
Pauls life was spent working in Hospitality. A career that saw him work in Asia, Europe and 15 years in England. All the while, writing Poetry and Songs which only ended up in a box under the bed.
In 2018 Paul laft the Hospitality trade behind and returned to Scotland, there he helped nurse a fmaily member through 23 years of Heroin addiction. This eventually became the catalyst for pushing him to do something with his Poetry & Music. So, through the help of a friend, he managed to rent a small flat on the Island of Islay, allowing him the peace & quiet, and spiritual calm that he needed to start working on his projects.
Fast forward to 2025, Paul is now self publishing, promoting and releasing the first book in a series of works named, Artisitic Intention - The Sound of Poetry.
He plans to support causes that are close to his heart and align with his moral values. Helping those who are unable or not strong enough to help themselves. And also creating businesses that can support these causes long after he is gone.

Artistic Intention - The Sound of Poetry
The following books are a collection of my thoughts, feelings, emotions and experiences. Each of these books will be used to raise essential funding for good causes. All of my poems and songs came to me in flashes of inspiration. They were not mine, they were given to me, they were a gift from the universe. I once watched a documentary about a musician, in it his mother said he was conflicted with his work. She said that he was making money from a gift he was given by the universe. So, she told him. Youre talent, is the Universe's gift to you, what you do with it, is your gift back to the Universe.
So, my decision to gift monies raised from my work, is me fulfilling my destiny and using my gift to help others. Thank you to all of you for helping me create this project, those who inspired me to write, those who are helping me now with contacts and funding, and those who will help in the future.

Mental Health
& Addictions
This is the first book in a series of Books that will be released under the Artistic Intention Brand.
Monies raised from this book will be used to help fund Addictions and Mental Health services.
We are in the midst of a Global Pandemic. The War on Drugs will never be won, until the War on Mental Health has begun. There is not enough funding or people involved in this sector. And with your help, we can change that.
Friendship
This book will be book number 2. It will be filled with poems and stories, songs and memories of friends. Friends that i have met, loved, maybe lost along the path of life. People who have inspired me, hurt me, been hurt by me. People who are no longer with us. But will always be there.
